Steveums U.S. Tour - DALLAS LEG

Postby mere1975 » Fri Jun 02, 2006 4:55 pm

Here's your chance to book time with the one and only STEVE when he visits Dallas in a few weeks!

Dates available for booking:
June 29 - July 14

Start your bidding.

Who wants to show him a Walmart? Wet & Wild? Six Flags? Rangers Game, as discussed?

You're also invited (especially Phyllis or Kristen or other young 'uns -- and Roach) to stay over at my place so you can entertain him and go on adventures while you are on summer break and I am at work!

Six Flags? Rangers Game
DIBS!

Who do we want to root against? Options:
Houston 6-30 through 7-2
Toronto on the 4th and 5th (they have a big fireworks show on the 4th)
Minnesota on the 7th - 9th
Roach, you said you were interested, any preference?
The Toronto game would be an international event.

Six Flags is better on a weekday; the heat is bad enough without the crowds.

You like dead presidents? I've heard the Sixth Floor Museum was cool... It's about the Kennedy assasination. I'm also half way to Ft Worth; besides cattle they have botanical gardens and a few nice art museums.

the houston games maybe more crowded, all that texas pride and what not. On the 4th I'll be in frisco watching soccer and kc and sunshine band and fireworks. the 5th would be good. We can probably beat toronto, and everyone likes winning. and we could hear the canadian national anthem. Do they do that in baseball?

I've heard good things about the conspiracy museum, and I finally figured out where it is.

I don't have usable vacation days left, so I maybe out of the weekday daytime activities.

One day I want to take Steve to Central Market and the Farmers Market and then we can cook in my megatron American kitchen with too many sink fixtures.

Another day I can take him to hot yoga so I can watch the Brit swelter in the indoor heat.

Also, I am up for a fun-day at Six Flags and all the new roller costers.

Oooooh, Forkers Day at Six Flags! I'm in. That'll be one of the weekdays I take off, fo' sho.

Can we do that on Friday, June 30? Or some day during the 4th of July week?

P.S.
Steve can compare and rate the cheese selections at Whole Foods Lemmon (near my house) versus Central Market and pick a winner.

I can do Six Flags that week, I think.
And I'd like to enter "my" Whole Foods (Collins and 30) into the cheese competition. They just remodeled that section.

I put my bid in for a tour of Cowtown, including the "Fort Worth Herd". Weekday is fine, we're flexible.

steve is a pescatarian, which will make Texas interesting.
