both rod stewart and ryan adams have recorded it...and rod had the gallaghers on it, too!

the single was his worst-selling ever, too....hahah

He's still the don, but now that Paul Anka is coming along, and doing covers of these songs actually seriously, I think it says something.

(come to think of it, read an article in the newspaper- Billie Jean was recorded for the album but Paul couldn't get a vocal take down without bursting into laughter, so maybe not entirely actually seriously)

thats true i suppose the arrangements are better for the anka album, but you'd never hear a mambo version of sunday bloody sunday by paul anka :lol:
