HALP!

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

i own neither and have played neither. however, i have witnessed both being played and the vibe i get is that guitar hero world tour is more of a family oriented game and rock band 2 is more badass.

i would go for rock band 2. but that's just me.

Personally (having played both), I enjoy Rock Band 2 more. There is definitely more downloadable content available and in the pipes for Rock Band, so I'd go with that.

here is a helpful video. living on a prayer played side by side on rock band 2 and guitar hero world tour. rock band 2 looks more challenging, and like justin said there is more downloadable content.

and for some reason i like those squares that rock band has rather than the circles in guitar hero.

I'm getting World Tour for the wii, but that's mostly because all my friends have Rock Band.

is rock band 2 even out for wii? and if so, is it a gimped version or does it have all of the features that the ps3/xbox360 one has?

i've seen different release dates for it in every place i have looked.

why would they release it so close to xmas? that's just bad marketing if you ask me.
or really, really good marketing, knowing that parents will probably break other parents' limbs just to get it.

it's great marketing. that close to xmas and if you don't get one, it might be too late to get anything as comparable. feeding frenzy.

Wow Jimbo, where's the fun in that? Scrooge.

For my part, I have thus far not purchased a single Christmas gift. Not one. Guess what I'll be doing this weekend?

i "wedding pictures for all!" rock

p.s. I think it's hillarious that Ill be giving my parents a Christmas gift that they essentially paid for. Snicker.
