Sarah Palin has had her 15 minutes

Postby NerfHerder » Wed Oct 29, 2008 6:36 am

And now she needs to take a hike.

But for god's sake she's urging Sen. Ted Stevens of Alaska to step down now for this (from the NY Daily News):

"The monthlong trial revealed that employees for VECO Corp., an oil services company, transformed Stevens' modest mountain cabin into a modern, two-story home with wraparound porches, a sauna and a wine cellar.

The Senate's longest-serving Republican, Stevens said he had no idea he was getting freebies. He said he paid $160,000 for the project and believed that covered everything.

Stevens' conviction hinged on the testimony of Bill Allen, the senator's longtime drinking and fishing buddy. Allen, the founder of VECO, testified that he never billed his friend for the work on the house and that Stevens knew he was getting a special deal.

Stevens spent three days on the witness stand, vehemently denying that allegation. He said his wife, Catherine, paid every bill they received.

Living in Washington, thousands of miles away, made it impossible to monitor the project every day, he said. Stevens relied on Allen to oversee the renovations, he said, and his friend deceived him by not forwarding all the bills."

Anyway shit dudes.

If Sarah Palin gets to be a Senator I'm going to tear out some balls. And when the CNN pundit fucks start calling her some kind of a "rising star" in the republican party I'm gonna barf for hours. But when she FINALLY gets her own Presidential bid in 2016 (more Senate experience than Obama and hopefully still hot) I'll gladly cast my vote for the Maverick Elephantress.

Maybe Tina Fey should schedule for plastic surgery so they can play twinz just like everyone's favorite dictator: Saddam Hussein.

Oh but seriously also on that NY Daily News site was this splendid game which is fun for approximately 30 seconds.

oh she only urged him to step down AFTER McCain came out yesterday saying that he should do so. When the verdict first broke, she was asked about it...she basically said something like "at this time we should respect the legal system...yada yada yada" I guess they hadn't told her what to say yet. god I hate her, McCain and the rest of those republican dimwits.

Oh but I just saw a picture of the (newest) Flordia Guv....he's rather sexy, I don't hate him (yet).

i don't hate mccain. i don't hate ted stevens. i really don't "hate" any republicans, even though i disagree with everything they say and everything they stand for.

except for sarah palin. fuck her. i hate her. she's dead to me. i can't wait until obama wins so i can never hear about her again. hopefully everyone else has seen how much of a nutjob she is and her political career will be over after this election.

hey sarah, stop acting like you're doing women a favor or breaking any glass ceilings. you're setting us back to the fifties you fucking bitch. AGGGGGH.

in essence: IA her fifteen minutes are uppp.
i wish this election was over already.

lolz i guess i am a sexist now

I dont' think they'll be able to drop her. The Republicans rank and file is in LOVE with her, they've created a monster.

yeah but usually when you've created a monster, it comes back to bite you in your ass...they can expect the same. NOW saying that, let's speculate she actually learns from her experiences and changes herself into a better candidate...knows the issues, shows leadership skills, etc. then perhaps it would serve them well to keep her around. At this point, I'd say that's pretty much a pipedream tho...but we shall see. well shall see. Honestly, I don't really care what they do with her after the election, my concern is that she's not sitting in the whitehouse come January! (and of course she won't be). OBAMA 08!

the future of the republican party is to suck it for the next 8 - 12 years due to their dumbass pick of a person who is kind if ignorant about things outside of the alaskan countryside.

I hope I'm the first and not the last to use the word AmSarahca.

Sarah Palin -- no more "talking head" clips with this beauty. Every Presidential speech will be multi-camera productions with glitzy transitions and stuff like Obama had on tv this very night. It'll be like the Fireside Chats if it were a cooking show. Man America is gonna be a great place once we get that gorgeous broad workin' the Oval Office. Hell, maybe I'll apply to be an intern in a Palin administration and get to score with the first lady prez.

Eeeeh, high fives all around dudes!

One thing I have never understood is the preoccupation with how 'hot' Sarah America is. Really? People actually think this?

she's "beauty pageant" pretty. meaning if she starves herself, fake tans, whitens her teeth, puts on thousands of dollars worth of makeup and clothes and accessories and gets some plastic surgery then yeah she's "good looking."

but as far as everyday life is concerned then no

But combine all this with the use of automatic weaponry to kill wildlife from a helicopter. NOW, we're talking HAWT!
