ok, so I had to watched the taped show last night...the only surprise was that kenley should have gone home her outfit was awful. but she's probably next. Lots of tears next week...so we'll see what's about to happen.

kenley probably had the worst outfit, but it was SO time for suede to go home. he should've gone home a long long long looooooooooong time ago. his outfit took boring to a whole new boring ass level. and it was the FOURTH time IN A ROW he was in the bottom. he was like this season's ricky; he just wouldn't go away. i'm relieved that he is gone.

also i thought jerell's was just slutty. i've seen pop stars wear more tasteful and stylish clothing. i think he is the only one that took it to the "stereotypical cliche" route. kortos was pretty cliche as well.

Usually, I can't decide whose outfit is best and I think 3 people should win. This season, almost every episode, I wish they would send 3 losers home because there are so many bad ones!

I think they will keep Kenley over Jerrell for drama purposes.

P.S.
I feel bad for Laura, Uli and Michael the year they went up against Jeffrey -- any of them could have won this season, hands down.

I thought Kato's was the best actually. Her outfit wasn't really that punk rock by punk rock standards but it was a good fashion version of it and she took a chance with the bleaching on the jeans, it really made the outfit (even it if almost choked the others).

I hate kenley. she's so annoying. and stupid. how can she possibly think everything she does is so perfect? she may well be retarded.

i agree with diana... kenley's outfit SUCKED and i hate her but suede obviously needed to go. i will say, though, at least suede didn't make jerell look ridiculous like kenley did with leanne (and did anyone else think that jerell really did kinda look like lenny kravitz?) i really didn't like jerell's outfit either, and think the vest needed to go to look like pop at all. i liked korto's outfit from the waist down. leanne's was okay. i don't know what the judges were thinking when they said it didn't look country. the top screamed country, almost too much for me. i really hope kenley goes home next week, because she is such a defensive bitch. she's like the female daniel. how dare you talk shit about tim gunn!

anyone else think that this year's challenges are layered too much? i liked the idea of being inspired by a musical genre, but what then was the point of designing for other designers? why the extra element?

I agree some challenges are pretty layered and they need more time.

I sort of like how they've had to design for different bodies throughout the season tho. That shows they can really design something and fit it to the person no matter what shape.

LOS ANGELES - A judge on Friday temporarily halted plans by film and television producer The Weinstein Co to take its hit TV program "Project Runway" to the Lifetime cable TV network from rival Bravo where it now airs.

The preliminary injunction, handed down in New York State Supreme Court, means that for now the fashion design contest starring model Heidi Klum will not jump to Lifetime Network in November 2008, as had been scheduled.

NBC Universal, the media wing of General Electric Co and the owner of Bravo, said it was pleased with the ruling, while separately privately-held Weinstein vowed to appeal.

In his roughly 40-page ruling, Judge Richard Lowe said NBC Universal had shown, among other things, a likelihood that it might eventually prove it had a right of first refusal to re-sign the show to a new cable TV distribution contract before Weinstein reached a separate agreement with Lifetime.

The program, in which contestants design new clothes each week and are judged by Klum and other fashion experts, is currently in its fifth season on Bravo. In its fourth season, it averaged 3.8 million women viewers ages 18 to 49-year-old and its finale lured 6.1 million women in the same group.

Lifetime, which targets women and is owned by Hearst Corp and The Walt Disney Co., said it was disappointed but would continue to pursue its deal with Weinstein so that a sixth season of "Project Runway" would air on its network.

Weinstein also said it remained committed to the Lifetime deal and that it was "glad" Judge Lowe required NBC Universal to post a $20 million (10.9 million pound) bond as the matter proceeds in court.

That sum is 10 percent of a $200 million bond for which Weinstein Co. had asked claiming that was the amount of the deal it had with Lifetime.

i'll watch it. but if it's all wonky and weird, i'll stop. i feel like this season was really lacking in comparison to other seasons, so i hope the potential move to lifetime doesn't ruin it completely.

i'm calling it right now

korto
leanne
kenley

i know everyone hates kenley and she doesn't deserve to be in the final three, but i know the producers will put her there because her and leanne hate each other. DRAMA. plus i think an all girl final three would be fabulooous. and i don't want jerell to win. he's nice and all but he just makes me go "meh"

the real competition is between korto and leanne. i think leanne has a really good chance of winning the entire thing. but we'll see.

post your predictions. the episode that chooses the final three is TONIGHT.

korto is my frontrunner. i love leanne too but i think korto might take the whole thing. i think i might agree with you on the final 3, phyllis, but gawwwwd. they might take jerell instead of kenley. if korto and leanne aren't in the final 3, i'll blow my brains out. i can handle kenley OR jerell, but not both.

flashback to season 1:

the final four was austin, jay, kara saun and wendy. wendy was obviously not talented in any way and didn't deserve to be there. kara saun, jay and austin were (and are) all extremely talented and most people had them pegged to go to the final three. but the producers were all like 'NO THX WE NEED DRAMA' so they stuck wendy in the final three because the other designers hated her. and they got the drama they wanted.

i think that's going to be repeated with kenley being the wendy in this situation.

but that's just my theory.

I also think finalists should only be Leanne and Korto, now that Terri is gone. I hope the third is Kenley and not costume maven Jerrell.
I agree. Down with Jerrell.

i am so pissed. this week didn't count for anything, so why bother?

jerell shouldn't have won this challenge AT ALL. that dress was awful, tip (tit?) to toe. vomit. kenley continues to do whatever she wants, regardless of anyone else's feedback. she won't improve because she can't take criticism without being a totally petulant cunt. everything she says just rings of "shut up, you don't know anything anyway." heidi klum was about to bitchslap her and, frankly, it would have made me so happy. i loved korto calling her out after judging, i really really really love korto. and leanne kept it classy. and jerell slapped her in the face with his dong. nice.

i think they did the 4 collections thing because based on the competition, they would have sent home korto and they couldn't do it because she's been so good all season. but if they hadn't, it would've reeked of picking someone based off former challenges. so let jerell or kenley crash and burn, i don't care which, but if the final 3 doesn't have leanne and korto in it, i'm gonna be annoyed.

can we get back to the normal format of 3 designers in the final with no extra special chances or added competitions or more collections? it's not a surprise anymore, you can sense it's coming. not. fun.
