Weekend plans

Postby Jan » Fri Jun 27, 2008 10:37 pm

What have you got planned for this weekend?

Saturday: A few drinks and cocktails with friends.

Sunday: The Original FM (local Aberdeen radio station) Summer Barbecue. Unless I'm too hungover.

friday night nada, my work was closed because of a power something or other....and I pretty much wasted the entire day off. Now I'm having some beers and that's it.

Saturday might go to a county fair...it's either that or chores (I hate chores) and the fair has my fave roller derby teams playing SF Bay Bombers (YAY) against the Brooklyn Red Devisl (HSSSSSS)...so that's looking like the plan.

Sunday a bike class in the park, record shopping at amoeba (have some gift vouchers to use up) and maybe watch the gay pride parade on tv cuz I don't do parades in person. this year is especially proud for gays tho cuz they can finally get married....and then divorced. (  )

next weekend is 4 days of camping fun tho, so I got that going for me!

tonight: work, home for cleaning and postcard writing and sudoku while jason sleeps.

tomorrow: laze about, then work, then show at the grenada (drunk).

sunday: work, fcd vs mexico's chivas (drunk).

jason's schedule is sort of like mine, 'cept he works tonight 3am-7am and doesn't have to work the rest of the weekend and will probably have more (drunk) to it.

Last night - take the boy to see Hulk to avoid a house full of giggling girls. Wee's having a b-day sleep over and it's a kick in the teeth.

Today - A good friend is having a birthday. It's her worse year ever and we're trying to help make it better. Later we take 'em to the pool to hang out. Maybe... probably... for sure plenty beers.

Tomorrow - Yard work. Joe Con with the boy.

katie was pretty much right about me. but i only have this last beer, my second, and am too lazy to go to the store at 8am for another 6er... reckon I'll finish the daily show, play with the cats for a second, then head off to bed.

saturday night is some dinner and a rock and roll concert.
sunday do some laundry. if my dad gets tickets from his beer store guy we'll head up to frisco for the chivas de somewhereinmexico fcd game for some drinking and cursing at fans that outnumber ours in our own house about 4 to 1.

oh yeah, taking the cats to the vet on sunday. 2/3 of them.

it's not. i've had jerky maybe twice in my life and it tasted like salty, meaty leathery feet.
