happy 4th!

It always reminds me of Dazed and Confused:

"Remember what you're celebrating this 4th of July. A bunch of rich, slave-owning, white men didn't want to pay their taxes!" *cut to "School's Out" by Alice Cooper*

i get to shoot off fireworks for the first time ever! as you may or may not know, they are illegal in massachusetts and you have to go to new hampshire for them. and cops are total dicks if you get caught with them. so somehow, the most i ever got my hands on were sparklers. we went to jason's friend jr's fireworks stand last night and got a ridiculous amount of fireworks for $40. pretty sweet. i am excited to set them off and scream like a little girl.

Well, keep in mind that they are illegal within the city limits of almost every town in Texas as well, and some counties have burn bans on because of the drought. So, you kids be careful out there.

Happy belated Fourth of July!!

I had a few people at work ask me if I was going to have turkey that night -- oops wrong holiday! Two people told me happy 4th of July with, which suprised me a bit.

Yesterday we had a BBQ with the family. It nice and sunny and warm. We also went to a UK Costco!! That was kind of jumbotron! ;)

We bought Gatorade, Nature Valley Granola Bars and Oberto BEEF JERKY!
