but i don't know what works for me cause i don't know how my brain works :(

havent those damn doctors figured out how to make people learn yet? lazy good for nothing...
i just come up with stories or whatever will help me memorize it and memorize it FAST. if it doesn't stick in my head right away, i move onto something that does. i don't know how your brain works either, but if you're getting the information to stick, i'd reckon that what you're doing is working.

for the record, my doctor sister got through med school by flash cards. i know because my friend kenny and i went through them drunkenly one night at her apartment making up answers for things. it is in the top 5 of times i've laughed really, really, really hard.

I was going to say try flashcards, too. There are lots of places to get info on different subjects for flashcards so you don't have to think of how to do it all by yourself. Flashcards (that are printed) are a convenient way to study where ever you are when you have a few minutes.

Here are a few that I googled that are supposed to have material that is covered on the MCAT.

Proprofs.com Not sure if these are printable.

Flashcard Exchange They say they charge a small fee if you want to print them or export to a program for printing but studying is free.

PreMed Flashcards They charge but have a free demo to download.

Oh yeah, and see if the psychology or education dept can do testing to determing your methods of learning. It may help you find what works best for you.

my study process used to be:

1. sit down and open book
2. get up and go smoke cigarette.
3. sit back down and flip pages of notes
4. go to bar and drink 3-15 beers
5. sleep
6. ace test.
hear, hear!
