Perhaps the gravitational pull of Titanic at #83 yanked those crazy, star-crossed Moroccans down.

titanic can burn in hell.

FUCKING. BORING.

i dont care how over-budget it was. IT WAS BORING. it needed gene kelly and 5 dance numbers to not suck. what a downer.

any list of great American films that fails to include Saturday Night Fever is not worth our time.
A friend of mine said her son loves that movie and watched it all the time a few years ago. He's 14. I said, "Wow, the rape and suicide scenes are pretty heavy for a preteen." She said, "Rape? Suicide? The only parts I remembered were the dancing scenes."

Weaksauce.

EDIT: And also, fuck Titanic. Fuck The Godfather, too, because everyone knows Jack was Coppola's masterpiece.

there's a really cool list at http://connect.afi.com/site/DocServer/1 ... ?docID=281 that has a side by side comparison of this year compared to the one ten years ago -- it's funny how much things have changed...
