Today I discovered...

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

time to investigate the klaxons, apparently they are a punk band influenced by altern-8, early prodigy and mad smiley anthems. gurntastic!
blimey. they're rather good - do a mean cover of the old rave classic 'the bouncer' too... your name's not down you're not coming in etc. There are 4 tracks on their myspace to download, go fill your boots :o

if your boots are small then atlantis to interzone is the pick of the pops.

Aberdeen bands I recommend:

http://www.myspace.com/projectvenhell - A bit like Shellac/Big Black

http://www.myspace.com/ukdedalus - Indie super geeks, but really good. you can tell they all used to work in record shops.

http://www.myspace.com/flamingkaty - Remind me of Teenage Fanclub

http://www.myspace.com/stroszekuk - I used to play bass for these boys

http://www.myspace.com/thevideos - Now called Kill Baby Kill, very impressive live[/url]
