...audiobooks?

I found http://www.audiobooksforfree.com but I'm really looking for somewhere with more history and philsophical listening than is there
*would just go to the library and read but my attention span is shorter than saddam's life expectancy when it comes to ploughing through dry sections of a book

I hear them talk about audible.com on NPR all the time. You can download podcasts of audio books, magazines, newspapers, and radio broadcasts. I don't know if they have physical audio books for sale or not though.

thanks I checked it out but I'm going the e-gypsy route and downloading stuff for free from mininova and this OMFAMAZING forum http://forums.mvgroup.org/index.php?s=4 ... 72f107fd91& alot of audiobooks and a ton of really good documentaries...I deleted all my distractions off the hard drive a few days ago (and I was just about to win the league with portsmouth :() and have been on an audiobook overdose ever since
