someone should sell copies of the constitution it would make a fantastic christmas present or at least a piece of paper with the info about not having to hand over id so when a police officer asks for your papers you hand them the constitution papers I can just see the SNL fake commercial for it now...

"tired of being tortured for not being a sheep? well buy the constitution 5000!..."

University campuses are probably one of the softer forms of shadow governments in most regards, but still, I found several references to identification in various UCLA handbooks, etc.
All persons on University property are required, for reasonable cause, to identify themselves to, and comply with instructions of, authorized University officials acting in the performance of their duties.
Just where you can expect the full force of the Constitution to be in effect is getting to be an interesting question. Reasonable cause, due process, etc...are a whole other issue.

I have to show my ID when I walk in the door at school now because someone walked in and took a girl's purse right out of a classroom -- then walked around the parking lot until her key/unlock button unlocked a car and they took that too.

I don't mind them checking to make sure people belong there.

I don't think they have the authority to tazer anyone though. Plenty of art kids forget and they probably let them in. . .

The first video is more attention-grabbing and shocking, but the second one is far more disturbing to me. I accept that there are some places I have to show ID, but in my car or in my home, while not breaking any laws isn't one of them.

i understand them checking IDs on campuses, since so many rapes happen there, but why wouldnt they just check as you enter the building? thats what they do at most UTD buildings. some buildings you have to swipe your card for the door to open after like 8 PM. but that is obviously ridiculous and disgusting to tazer someone for something that stupid. maybe if the person is going around hitting on 18 year old girls in a college library and he's a 40 year old man making a scene and disturbing everyone, i could understand then if they demanded ID. why the hell would you demand ID from someone working on a paper in a library?? thats retarded.

dal "our cops just give us parking tickets" ya

p.s. why are LA police SO FUCKED UP?!?!?!?! you'd think NYPD would be bad, but i hardly ever about shit like this in new york, which is just as class segregated and way more crowded than LA. fucking psychos.

p.p.s. isnt it a law in most states that you have to present ID to an agent of the law if they ask? i'm not saying its right but ive always been told thats a law. i know you dont have to let a cop search your car or belongings but i think you do have to show ID.

was the guy in the 1st video a minority? i only watched till he started screaming and i couldn't listen anymore.

i dont know why, but the sound of humans screaming in pain or animals in pain is the worst sound in the world to me. i'd rather get tenitis than have to listen to that.
