it is isn't it. i guess i take it for granted sometimes because i've lived here for so long but it's always a welcoming sight when i head home as you can see it from miles away. my favourite time is during the evening, it's really peaceful down there with just the wind and the church bells for company.

i'm guessing you might have been talking about constable's paintings?

Nope, actually we were talking about its Gothic architecture. Vaulted ceilings, pointed arches and stuff like that. . .

I get to see it on the way to work every day walking down Castle Street... here's the only photo I could find. It pretty much looks the same although a bit more modern. I work in one of the buildings off to the left hand side about half way down.
