i'm back in black

Postby Dalya » Fri Aug 11, 2006 6:43 am

and officially a student with an ID and everything. now I dont have to use my sisters old Indiana ID to get discounts at movies.

i'm taking 16 hours and my classes are:

classics of world lit
literary anlysis
college algebra
survey of american history pre-civil war
ballet (doing, not studying)
and rhetoric which is required and stupid.

i'm also thinking about doing cheerleading but not sure. they have no football team so its really laid back and only 2 practices a week... sounds like my kind of sport. plus its probably the only way i'll make friends since i'm living at home and refuse to join a sorority.

A college cheerleader as a BFF? Ohhh you guys will have so much fun talking about boiz and makeup and hair tips and curlers and baking.

Won't that be fun?!

In addition, welcome back.

My favourite thing about university was the socialising aspect, and by socialising I mean constant drinking for 4 years. I doubt my liver will ever forgive me...

Me too me too.

I have a student ID that's 10 years old but no one ever gives me a hard time about taking it.

I start the 28th and I am only taking one class (woo hoo!).
Spanish 3 and 4 intensive, 5-8:30 M, T, W (boo hoo!).

Let the bitching begin.

Do you know who you have for Rhetoric? That class can be really cool/a total whipping depending on the teacher.

Can we bring student-nerd to a new level and have a student discount movie night?

- Mere "always have to show my ID these days, and I do so -- and take my $3 box office discount -- proudly" 1975

P.S.
You get a 15% discount at Pier 1 with a student ID.
