Bozo died (CLOWN CONTENT)

Was Bozo a national show, or just in the midwest?

I grew up in central PA and we had Bozo the Clown and Romper Room (which is probably decades before y'all were born). I liked Bozo until his hair got really perfect. I don't know if it was syndicated before that and he got all "corporate" or what but I didn't like him as much after that.

Not me! Romper Room was my FAVORITE with one flaw. . . she NEVER saw Meredith in the Magic Mirror at the end of the show.

I know Bozo too. How sad. Now we only have Krusty (a bozo rip off).

I was a big Bozo fan too. Although I'm sure the Bozo I was watching was Bob Bell, and that dude that came after him (wiki lookup: Joey D'Auria). I don't think I ever saw Harmon as Bozo...

I, too, always thought I could win the grand prize game; I wanted to play it so bad...my friends and I used to set up buckets and get ping pong balls to practise, as if we were going to one day get a chance...

Ja"WGN: Bozo and the Cubs...that's pretty much all I watched in 82-83"mes

bozo was the best. and throwing ping pong balls into trash cans is really fucking hard, so i totally respected those kids. damn the lucky children of chicago. we had bozo in denver, but no mr pepperment. there was a show that i liked, but all i remember now is a hobo clown and a guy in a gorilla suit...

does anyone remember the polka dot door? it was real, i swear!

It was real because I remember my mom telling me that was one my first few phrases that I said... Polka Dot Door! (or was that my brother? oh I can't remember... but yes, it was real)
