I like Tony more because he seemed pretty tolerant of the whole situation, but it's obvious that the reality is that he could never keep Vito around.

It would be easiest for Tony to say if Vito ever comes around here again, that will be the end of him. But that won't happen. They backed off a little on Paulie's crasy. I still think he won't make it to the end of the show. I am also starting to wonder if they are building up Meadow just to lead us astray. She is learning how to launder money at her internship. At the same time, Carmella's friend Angela has got money on the street. They mentioned that women used to be more active in these affairs back when times were tough. So, are times going to get tough or will the captains put a stop to this?
I think that Angela's auto and side business -- plus the failure of the spec house -- is just there to spur Carmella's interest in starting something on her own. Probably legitimate, although she has tried that route and gotten caught up in the red tape that the "real world" deals with.
I really want Christopher's movie to pick up again. That's always funny, and it's sure to cause conflict between Tony and him.

What I learned from the convivial (but crazy s.o.b.) Artie Bucco:
* Sometimes, you gotta change the way you do business
* Sometimes, you gotta go back to the way your grandfather did it
I think that's what they were setting up.
Why did they end the show with the Italians flying home with the gifts they got in the "Oooo ess-ay" (U.S.) because of the weak American dollar? Is that like saying the American mafia is weak, too? I might be reading too much into it, but it was a strange scene to include at the end there.
And OMK, Christopher PUNCHED Lauren Bacall?! When he almost gave Tony the trip to Australia, I knew he'd get caught. Every scene with Sir Ben Kingsley was cringeworthy.

I also liked this line from Tony to Benny Fazio: "You don't shit where you eat. And you sure as hell don't shit where I eat."
- Mere "that actor really was Vinnie Del Pino on Doogie Houser, M.D." 1975
P.S.
Rubbs, do you watch Big love, too? We watched Sopranos when we got home from dinner, but I didn't want to stay up late to re-watch Big Love, too. I'll catch it Tuesday night maybe. I like that show; Sam's not really into it.

I think we repeated this one about eight times this morning at work.I also liked this line from Tony to Benny Fazio: "You don't shit where you eat. And you sure as hell don't shit where I eat."
