it's not that hard to learn. green runs are for little kids/beginners. once you've had like one lesson you can ski blues (intermediate) and if you have pretty good coordination blacks (advanced).
If you haven't been skiing since you were 12, you might be surprised at how hard it is. I was skiing blacks at that age, but when I went back at 17 it was NOT like riding a bike, and I've got the scar tissue to prove it.
there are more than 20 such indoor skiing facilities currently in existence:
Yeah, but this place isn't going to be indoors.
Could everyone please stop hating snowboarders just because a few douchebags like to pow wow in annoying spots?
That's not why people hate snowboarders. They tear up the slopes. But if it makes you feel better, I don't hate you.

skiing is a dangerous sport. I've personally never been...but it looks dangerous and I doubt I'll ever try it as 1. I hate snow, 2. I don't want to risk breaking any part of my body I need and use regularly, 3. I don't fancy risking death. :? just remember Sonny Bono people...

but you daredevils go right ahead. I'll be in the log cabin drinking hot coco and warming myself by the fire.

oh yeah...this ski lodge place sounds like a lame idea...I mean it's texas already. there's no snow (mountains) there. I have to wonder what impact changing the temp is going to have on well everything...
