And, accidently, they'll prove Andrew Jackson was related to Satan....

I apologize for being too lazy to try and find the article, but I remember reading about a study where they determined this variable for societies that basically summed up the rate at which genetic informatoin was exchanged. The point was that it took about 2000 years for everyone to be related if you used the amount of mobility present about 2000 years ago. Basically, we all share some level of ancestry.
