Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago

Postby Jan » Sat May 24, 2008 2:54 pm

Bon Iver Myspace

The UK press has been wetting their pants about Bon Iver's album, which is quite good but didn't live up to the hype I feel.

Skinny Love is an excellent song though, one of the best I've heard this year.

Thoughts people?

Will have to check them out since they are playing End of the Road Festival. My darling husband purchased our festival tickets today!

i saw the rain outside and thought we'd better get them soon

think we'll pick up the album this week and report back. has got the highest rating on metacritic of any album released this year so looks like the gushing is universal.

It is a good album (it has soundtracked a lot of my walks home from work recently), but no record could live up the praise given to it by the UK press recently.

He does have a splendid beard though, I'm jealous.
