The Official World Cup Thread

I thought about making it "shport" in general, but I really don't care about the others.

The Official World Cup Thread

Here's where we talk, rant, rave, bullshit, cry, laugh, cheer, etc. Steveums don't read this thread.

As Eebs pointed out, first goal is in. Lahm from Germany scores in the sixth minute. Go fig. I have them down beating them 4-0 so I'm off to a good start...

ballack is injured, he's got a calf injury. player says he's fit but klinsmann says he wants to save him for the later games to be on the safe side.

great finish from klose - it's a goal fest! usually the first game is a snoozefest....

wow! lehmann is kick ass!

costa rica has two goals on only two shots. i think that works out to a 0% save percentage.

Good lord, 80+ minutes for a a shot on goal? And then some attacking. Good luck against the huns next week.
