Arsenal -vs- Barcelona

I thought about making it "shport" in general, but I really don't care about the others.

maybe so, but giving up two goals in four minutes sucks.

i guess they gave it their best go at it. it didnt help being down a man for most of the game. f' ing lehmann.

well, the second goal was a lucky bounce off the leg of the backup goalie. He was in position, just a bit of bad luck.

And to be honest, the way the game goes now, Eto'o's first goal should have counted and Lehmann should not have been red carded. I know it was technically the right decision, but Barca should have been allowed continuation, and if they didn't get that, it should have been a penalty kick.

Arsenal did a pretty amazing job of playing 10 on 11 for 70+ minutes.

And it's not like they didn't have other chances. Henry had a couple of breakaway moments and kicked it right to the keeper twice.

if the eto'o goal had been counted lehmann still would have been sent off, he was the last man, it was still a bad foul for a goalkeeper

How bad of a foul was it?
Not that bad, really. But it was a foul by the goalkeeper and it was out of the box. Giuly actually went on to score, but they pulled it off and red-carded him instead. They pulled Pires as the 11th man. Currently they're playing good defense but they're getting no chances at all.

it was a red card foul.

12 v 10 by the end, the referee was missing so much. larsson made the difference for me, great pass for the 2nd goal.

might be enough to keep henry at arsenal, he was well pissed off after the game - unfinished business maybe?
