World Cup 2010

I thought about making it "shport" in general, but I really don't care about the others.

Was listening to the radio. Were we as robbed on that 3rd goal as they made it sound?

Yep. In fact, there were two fouls against Slovenia that weren't called on the same play as the phantom US foul...

Just saw the replay, what utter garbage. :x At least now we can cheer for England to put Slovenia down as long as we can keep this momentum up against Algeria.

this guy says Bocanegra with the foul. then you get down to who is writing the story. the referee never signaled what the foul was and wouldn't tell the captain. pretty f'd up.

I watched 4 different angles. i didn't see the foul. and bradley was being manhandled.

As long as we still control our destiny, I guess its not a total catastrophe. I just want to see (or listen to) two full halves played at the proper intensity. I'm pretty sure that would result in the dismantling of Algeria.

With Germany dropping an on-field deuce, being 2nd in our group might not be a big deal.

This Coulibaly guy is drawing some real heat. Maybe he was out of his depth, but I don't wish him ill. I'm sure he knows he fucked up. What a nightmare.

yeah, people who actually wish death on someone for an error is kinda shitty. that's when we realize we may be taking this thing too seriously.
according to the announcers at the start of the game he works in financial industry. when he filled out his bio was this his "SOS I'm being bribed! they're gonna cut my testicle if i rat!"?

sam, you taking Wednesday off? it's raining used teevees over here at the roach-hil ranch, we now have enough to watch both group c games and maybe some morning news. at the same time.

Unfortunately, I have a standing meeting on Wednesday mornings that I can't get out of. I'll be heading back from the airport area sometime mid-match. Is there anywhere out that way where they might have the game on?

The Londoner in Addison will definitely have the match on.

Here is an interesting article (from 2005) about US goalie Tim Howard and his struggle with Tourettes. Apparently he loses his tic when he's playing and it's helped with his spastic reflexes.

He's even more amazing to me now than before.
