It doesn't look like the cubbies are going to make it far. I was kinda pulling for Philadelphia, but they are in the same 0-2 hole. Now it's going to be down to anybody but the Yankees for me. Go Tribe!

obviously i root for the red sox. i would be very happy if they won tonight and were sitting pretty at 2-0. of course, it is the red sox. they like to do well, fuck up, and then pull it out (sometimes) in the last few minutes.

poor cubs fans. i know how you feel, guys. srsly.

Was the plague of locusts (or some sort of bugs) a biblical warning to Yankees fans or what?

Is that common in Cleveland? They didn't seem as bothered.

the problem with the yanks is their ability to come back. i hate that about them. and a few other things.

I'm looking forward to Indians-BoSox. Not Rockies-D-Backs. I would guess the rating for that are going to be abysmal.

WTF? I haven't been paying much attention to the ol' ball game, but I check in to find the Colorado Rockies in command of the NLCS...the COLORADO ROCKIES? I tell ya, if they end up winning it all, the Texas Rangers should just commit suicide now (not individually, but the team should just give up and disband).

It's proof that management, not money, that has kept the Rangers at the bottom. 2007 Payrolls:

2) Boston Red Sox $ 143,026,214
21) Texas Rangers $ 68,318,675
23) Cleveland Indians $ 61,673,267
25) Colorado Rockies $ 54,424,000
26) Arizona Diamondbacks $ 52,067,546

i'm sort of surprised the rockies are doing so well. good for them, though.

bosox are doing pretty damn good thus far. they do have a knack for screwing it up at the end, though. hopefully schilling vs fausto goes well tonight.

ka"curt, get off your knees! you're blowing the game!"tie

last night's bosox was a nailbiter. i was out at the bar with my cast and had to leave before the end of the game. checked the score when i got home and was bummed. they can't win 'em all, i suppose. i'm surprised i didn't hear the screams of anger from fenway on my drive home.
