Pretty damn incredible episode. The interesting thing is that they only killed the two liabilities to the show Michelle Rodriguez & Cynthia Watros.

Yeah, I was starting to feel like the second half of this season was slipping, but now I'm totally rivetted again.
My guess is that Michael thinks he can trade Henry for Walt, or something. I don't think it would be anything as dramatic as he's been brainwashed/changed teams/is a fake Michael. I wonder why he had to shoot himself in the arm, though. And where does Libby being dead take the whole "Where do I know you from?" Hurley/Libby storyline.
I liked the resolution they gave Ana Lucia, though.
I don't know what else to say right now, still processing. That was awesome, though.
Do you think Jack will try and pin this on Locke, or are they finally past all that?
And what was up with the Claire episode a while back? Wtf??
And who is "the man in charge?" Do you think there's going to be an Alias tie-in?

WOAH!!! Watros is TOASTED.
I wonder what effect, if any, that had on the storyline.
I think it's lame if they canned them for that, not that that's acceptable behaviour or anything, but still, I don't see why it should cost them their jobs or be the show/network's responsibility

as I was falling asleep last night I put something together (i think(oh yea i was really drunk too)) do you think the guy who hired ana lucia was jack's father? something about the scene in the airport just made me think that. so umm yea..
I also thought they may have killed them off because of the DUI, OR they got the DUI because they were killed that day, and went to tie one off to celebrate.

Lost is so frustrating to watch sometimes. A co-worker of mine got me hooked right before season 2 started by letting me borrow her season 1 box set! Damn her, it was like crack!
Anyway, I thought last nights ending put a great twist on things! Now was it preconceived that Ana and Libby were to be killed off before their DUI incident, or was that just pure coincidence? Now the real question is, did Michael do it because he was captured and brainwashed by the others, or for his own motives to get Walt back, the latter seems a bit too extreme to me!

You could be right about that, I read an article posted on TV Guide's web site with producer Lindelhof where he confirmed that Ana-Lucia will die, but didn't confirm or deny if Libby was in fact killed off. It seems pointless to kill her now after the build up of Hurley's relationship with her, not to mention the big twist that she was in the hospital with him at the same time! Who knows.I'm not so sure Libby is dead.
The guy that hired Ana Lucia was definately Jack's father, and she dropped him off at the bar where he will meet Sawyer when he goes in there.
I suppose it is presumtuous to assume that Libby is dead, it would make more sense if she wasn't, but damn, she looked dead.
I can't wait to see next week.
What does everyone think about Michael?

I'm pretty convinced that Jack's father is also Claire's father. I'm sure we'll find out in the next few weeks (if not next season), but it just makes sense to go that way. I think that Michael got "flipped" by the others in order to get Walt back. He was mildly upset about capping Libby, but he really really wanted to do Ana-Lucia in (I guess that torture in the cage back on the other side of the island didn't do her any favors).
The ultimate "fuck you," however, is that Michael accomplished in 5 minutes what Henry had been trying to do for a week: get the crew up in arms about the others.
My thought is that Henry is the leader of the others. It only makes sense with the amount of screen time he got. The campers will roll into "others central" just to see Henry there with that scary-ass grin on his face surrounded by his theater troupe of miscreants.
I really really hate J.J. Abrams and crew for making me think so much during network television.

henry had been trying to get to Locke for a while. I'm guessing he figured that a Locke vs. Jack thing would be the way to go to bring the camp down. Hell, he even said flat-out that he had been sent to "get" Locke. Now Michael has Jack all in a tizzy about getting the others, but has kept "rational" Locke out of all of it.
Locke is so screwed up about why Henry didn't bolt when he had the chance that he'll second-guess himself and contribute to the anarchy that is getting ready to spring forth.
