James, I just don't see the big deal with Pete any more. I know he had a good thing going in The Libertines. Thanks for all the extra info, though.

Oh no, I don't think it's a big deal. I think the media hype on him now is ridic. He's proven to be a waster. People I work with never heard the Libertines, but know him because he's always being busted for drugs.

At least we have that first album. When he dies, I'll always bring out the truth of the matter when someone tries to idolise him.

...The NME writes what the NME readers want to read, therefore there's probably not much of a difference between what their lists would have been I reckon.
