Last week I bought "we hate your hate" (i think that's what it's called) and I quite like it, but I hear that they are Canadian!

Anyone else like them?

I do! I do! Last year's Self-Titled album has really been growing on my ass as of late.

i have a couple of records, and they're ok. They played on our showcase at SXSW one year and they were really awesome live.

I get the impression it would be a very uplifting performance. Doubt that they will be playing live in Aberdeen any time soon. i'll just have to make do with the Long Blondes and David Holmes.

BSS are not knocking Giant Drag off my stereo though, but I really like Giant Drag!

You should see about getting that removed.

I think you have the self-titled, with the pink city on the front?
They're a big supergroup mish-mosh band. One of the main guys used to be in Len (you know, one-hit-wonders with "Steal My Sunshine") and they have various canadian indie people guesting.

I'm seeing them at Koko in may; yay! I hear they are completely different live. Oh yeah, I wrote a fairly rubbish review, too.
