live at kcwx - deathray davies

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

great use of the trombone.

I love "I got coal". Good to see a sober performance by DRD.

edit: Wait, didn't that drummer used to play bass?

I think he's probably a better drummer. At least they sounded better than I remember.

It's hard for me to tell. I really liked Robert and Jason was really good on bass. I definitely love the new lineup, but, for me, it's almost a different band altogether.

saturday was the 3rd or 4th time i've seen jason play drums, I really like him more than the other drummers now. he beats the hell out of the drums which works for them. i like every time they've changed drummers because it's changed their sound slightly, for the better. they've also added chris mayes on trombone and keys and guitar and whatever else they need added, he's friggin awesome.

jason was touring with the paper chase lately as their drummer.

and i like how i wasn't paying attention when I started this thread, I put my stations call letters in the title, not the radio station's.
