yoko ono

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

heard good things about the album. now that i've heard a song i'm buying the album. but i'm kind of in to the older ladies and whatnot, not wanting to take her to the bone zone after that. maybe hang out with, but no pound town. she definitely is fronting a nice piece of music though.

It's pretty debatable whether she's cool or not. As a musician, she's had some serious duds over the years, but then every once in a while she had some pretty awesome songs. I can't fault her from an inspiration point of view. For instance, I think that's what goes through people's heads when they're waiting for the D train...or any train...so she's channelling something there.

That said, I think she's cool. In that "Yes, I'm a Witch" album that I took part in, those versions are pretty cool.

How cool is it to have the Roots as the house band? Does he have a different one every day/week?

She's a terrible dancer, and it was kind of pretentious, but I can't hate on this.

Chris, you have to reveal which side you're on. I'm gonna say you're pro-Ono - hm?

i'm pro-ono til i die. the common counter-argument is that my asian fetish has damaged my brain.

i'm also pro-nomi.

even though i think i hate her because she married my boyfriend, i still think she's pretty cool. i agree with sunny: pretentious but cool. i don't like the song that much, but she's done some really cutting-edge (read: fucking weird) stuff over the years.
