100 Worst

Rotten Tomatoes has listed their worst 100 movies since 2000.
Check it out.

I've only seen one off of the list - Cork Ramano. I'm surprised I haven't seen more than that.
And this has me thinking... maybe I should try to work my way through the list.

I've seen Envy and Because I Said So, and I didn't think either of them were that bad, but I didn't actually expect either of them to be good anyway.

In The Name of TheKing, on the other hand - I tried to watch it, but it was too bad. It bothers me that Jason Statham is so set on making bad action movies, because I thought he was great in Snatch.

I've seen two of them too: Boat Trip and The Whole Ten Yards. I knew both of them would be bad so I guess I didn't think they were so bad because of my low expectations.

In fact, Boat Trip has a hilarious cameo by Roger Moore. So really I think it could come off the list just for that.

But yeah, most of these look so bad it's like "well, duh..."

i've seen none of them, but i see that the theory i learned in junior high is true: the quality of a movie is inversely proportional to the number of hot bikini-clad chicks on the movie poster.

Envy, not that bad? I rememebr the first and last 20 minutes were fine, but it took a steep downturn about the time Christopher Walken appeared. (Not his fault - it just seemed like a totally different writer/director/movie for the middle.) Sam and I still joke about Pocket Flan though, so maybe not all bad?

- Mere "gonna check that list now" 1975

P.S. Aside from catching 5 minutes of a few of these on cable, I have only seen "Envy" from the list.

plus 'half past dead' was awesome, seagal is awesome.

i haven't been this upset since the afi didn't put 'saturday night fever' on their 100 best films list
