the sex pistols at the longhorn ballroom

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

I was there. And that looked like my camera but I know it's not because I stayed out of spitting (and puking) range while they were on stage.

awesome!

My first round of tix stubs were faded and disgarded...I regret that. I know have a little book that you can save them in and it's pretty cool. It's like a phot album for your stubs.

I got some. I'd have to look for my negatives. I shot black and white since I could develop and print it myself. But really, they look like everyone else's. Although...I may have a photo of the dead rat by the side of the stage.

Oh wow, love that commercial. I don't know what ppl thought at the time, but I can tell you when I first saw this thread title I thought for one horrible moment that Mr Liden would actually be coming through Dallas on some scam of a "Sex Pistols" tour. He's better off selling butter.

Yes, I was there too. No ticket stub though, so Tracy still wins. I thought they were absolutely awful, BTW. Call me crazy, but I prefer musicians who can actually PLAY music. But it's a cool memory I suppose.

I'm off to our homecoming game but I will quickly say, that they were mostly an oddity and that's why people went. If there were any real punks in Dallas, you could probably count them on one hand. They were awful but they never said they could play - even the ones that could.

I swore that they thought they were booking an act called The Six Pistols, you know, what with accents and all - since it was at the Longhorn Ballroom. EVERYONE took a photo of the marquee.

I may think of more when I don't have hydrating band kids on my mind. I'll see if I can find my negatives, too.

kind of off topic but on, I haven't been in the shopping for a scanner ever, but I heard they have scanners now days that allow you to put a stack of negatives in and it scans and slides too. and they show up as photo quality pictures on the computer box. if this is all true I think I need to get in the scanner shopping business.
