okay, so, like, i spent tonight watching American Graffiti. I'm tellin' ya, there's just something about that movie, it's really a classic; you simply have to watch it on a steamy Saturday night in the summer to fully appreciate its colors, its moods, and its atmosphere. i'm not a big film buff, but i know what's good and i know that the film is a classic of the genre. it's one of those few films where you can totally BELIEVE every bit of it and the actors really become their characters.
ps. phyllis = mackenzie phillips' character!
it's summer time. you know you need to do this at least ONCE

I really tried to get into this movie a couple years ago, it's one that I thought I would like. Kind of a sucker for movies that show me things I shoulda been doing/feeling during high school. coming of age I guess.
but I got bored.
there was some anxiety at the time of viewing so I will give it another look-see, but as of now, wasn't a fan.

It's just Star Wars set in the 50's
I'm actually pretty damn sick of the movie. Don't get me wrong, it's wonderful as all hell, but it's also my brother's favorite movie and he would watch it several times a day when we lived together in college.
