"Stranger than Fiction"

Wanted to see it when it was in the movie theatres last year. Missed it. Recorded it on cable in January. Let it sit there for 5 months. Finally watched it tonight. Loved it!!!

Yeah. Really good movie.

I'm kinda bummed with Will Ferrel. I thought after this film he would take the Jim Carrey/Bill Murray route where he starts going for the smarter, more complex scripts. Instead he's gone back to the same schtick. Same character. Different costume.

I was impressed by how sympathetic a character Will Ferrel played, and how quickly I was hoping for things to work out for him.

I love Will Ferrel and that's a great movie. Can't wait to see his new movie Step Brothers. Me and Doom's girlfriend were trying to enlighten him on the finer points of Will last night over beers as Zeitgeist.

Yep they made it to SF and we got together for beers last night, it was fun (and a bit chilly). I got a pic, will post when I get back from camping.

It's kind of sad when Jackie gets to hang out with Doom more than we do in 2008. :)

Doom, let's catch up when you get back!

same here. i love comics-turned-"real"-actors. especially jim carrey. also robin williams in patch adams (whatever, fuck you guys, i liked it) and one hour photo, etc. oh, and jack! i loved that movie.

p.s. i loved stranger than fiction too. not so much the ending, but thats kind of the point. well. you know. i thought it was perfect. one of those movies you can continue to find layers to.
