Yeah, they're not the only ones either, as The Killers went totally "The Boss" on Sam's Town and it's really good.

But Neon Bible is aweseome with a capital AWESOME.

every time i try to listen to this album, I start with (naturally) "black mirror" and get really excited.. especially the "un deux trois dis miroir noir!" and then i just get bored out of my mind starting on track two, and never can manage to get all the way thru it.

"intervention" is okay i guess, more rock albums should make use of GIANT FUCKING PIPE ORGANS if you ask me.

still, it's no Funeral.

I'm not in love with them, but I like both of their albums an awful lot. And they're fantastic live.

though i couldn't care less about arcade fire, really.

but i'm listening to it on Burst Radio, and yeah, it sounds like a bad Nebraska rip-off. STEVIES ON THE RADIO RIGHT NOW, so listen!
