that humanity's cultural history has become so diluted that today I heard someone refer to that one cover of 'Mad World' as 'that opera song.'

And it pisses me off that people think of it as a Pixies tune.

i've forgotten that entire album. thankfully, my high-school sweetheart dumped me on the day i bought it, and i was too depressed to listen to it then, and when i went back and listened i thought it was crap. so i wrote that one off. don't think i've listened to it in 12 years....

I just downloaded the J&MC "version" before new years.
I've been on a big 80s college radio kick lately.
I'm trying to replace all the stuff I had on cassette back in the day. I was getting the CDs slowly... but now I've just reverted to downloading the tunes.

Last night I finally found a few MAX Q songs I've been searching for forever.

They played it when i saw them, and kim announced that it was J&MC after the song. Maybe she gets annoyed too. Not that anyone in the audience knew anything except "Where Is My Mind?".
