would mozzer approve?

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

I have never heard a Smith's cover that has done the song justice.

After watching that, I can safely say, I still haven't.

i don't think it's *that* bad. i've listened to it a few times now and i don't think she's flat; i think she's just singing in an american accent, and i think it's a case where singing with an american accent sounds off....

I didn't say it was bad, I just said I've not ever heard a Smith's cover that did it justice, and this is no exception.

And I beg to differ. She sings fine, albeit a bit mouse-y for my tastes, except when she lands on the word "car", it's flat and she scoops up to get it in tune. This happens twice.

Something else that bothers me is that her playing on the screen isn't exactly with the music, and that drives me nuts, so i stopped watching it to just listen.

Ja"To be fair though, Morrissey and his current band have a hard time pulling off this song as well"mes
