Architecture in Helsinki
I'm loving this band at the moment. They're a bit of a musical roller coaster ride. Anyone else dig them?
They opened for us once in Melbourne. I don't think much of the band was impressed with them, but I was digging their stuff. I was going to go talk to them after the show, but Teasley ruined that by bursting out on the stage during their set with a face full of shaving cream. For no reason. They wouldn't talk to us after that.
That guy's a gem.
Architechture in Helsinki is on the list (I use Amazon.com's wish list to keep track, though I hardly ever buy from them), but I haven't heard it. I'll have to grab it next time I'm spending another $25 on a CD I already have (just saw the re-release of 3 Imaginary Boys last weekend).
Speaking of, I've been meaning to ask if you were going to catch The Cure @ Royal Albert Hall? Because if so I hate you.
p.s. hey Justin, for some reason this morning I was able to log in, yea!

The AIH record is really great, childlike yet adventurous, and totally worth whatever they're asking for it.
I'm probably not going to see The Cure at RAH. I'm saving up for instruments/recording equipment. That cuts out most gigs these days. I've seen The Cure enough in my life, but I'll see them again at some point I'm sure.
haha. my listening is pretty widespread and scattered, so I don't know if that's a good idea. I'm a bit of a CJ lite; I don't know as much as him but my areas I know pretty damn well.Oh, just think of the fun he could have! The jury is in.
Ten points. I'm just going to start buying everythig James tells me to.
That said, have you heard an album by a band called Lycia called "Estrella"? Beautiful on those days where your soul is a few shades darker...

I'm way into them. Do they have anything good out other than Fingers Crossed?I'm loving this band at the moment. They're a bit of a musical roller coaster ride. Anyone else dig them?

In Case We Die is every bit as good, maybe better. But every bit as good.I'm way into them. Do they have anything good out other than Fingers Crossed?I'm loving this band at the moment. They're a bit of a musical roller coaster ride. Anyone else dig them?
I think, at times, they have three trombone players at once. They have so many multi-instrumentalists, that's half the fun of their live shows is the in-song instrument switches (and the lead singer's facial contortions).fuck, i already have about a billion gigs in may. and I did want to seeee them.one off london date on sat 13 may at ulu, support from semifinalists - just gone on sale...
Oh well.
