Ennio Morricone

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

Ennio Morricone

So, today I came into four of Morricone's greatest records ever:

1. A Fist Full Of Dollars
2. For A Few Dollars More
3. Once Upon A Time In The West
4. The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly

Listening to these scores really takes me back to my childhood. I really pity the poor bastard who gets in front of me on the highway on the way to work tomorrow.

How much of a dumbass would I look like if I walked into work wearing a serape and chomping on a cherroot?

There's a great box set that has a lot of his best stuff on it that I'd like to find. I think I saw it at a Border's in Los Angeles, or maybe it was a Barnes and Noble.

But I can wait. I've heard his stuff ad nauseum when I was in tps; I probably don't need to hear it again until 2049

I get that way when I listen to the Superfly soundtrack.
