Isn't the season premiere tonight, or am I mistaken?

yes its on tonight. i am also anxiously awaiting the show on after lost,
'the nine'. it looks kinda cool but will probably suck.

has anyone watched 'heroes' yet? it kinda reminds me of lost in the way the show is set up.

that's because Jeph Loeb is the executive producer on Heroes. The same creative group that came up w/ Lost did Heroes.

Oh, and it fucking rocks.

Heroes, then, pretty good?

Also, I'm a huge West Wing/Aaron Sorkin Fan. Has anyone seen his new show with Bradley Whitford and Amanda Peet, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip? I've been curious about it, but haven't had time to watch.

I like Studio 60.

Saw episode 2 of Studio 60 and it was pretty good. Have you seen the ad for 30 Rock where Alec Baldwin is looking for Bradley Whitford on the set? That guy is f'ng funny.

The Lost opener, btw, started strong and then...well, you can guess. Intriguing possibilities at Sealab, though.

I have resisted the temptation to get addicted to Lost.

Studio 60 is top notch, as is to be expected from the fine folks who brought us Sports Night. Matthew Perry is so much better than I ever dreamed - he's almost left Chandler in the dust.

Heroes does indeed ROCK! I love the little Japanese guy, appropriately named Hiro. YAATTAAA! I don't know what it means, but it's fun to yell out.

Friday Night Lights has also garnered my attention - strong, strong show. And Kyle Chandler is so dreamy, it broke my heart when he got blown up last year on Grey's Anatomy.

Sy "that concludes my report on the fall TV season" bil

p.s. Oh, yeah, and DOCTOR WHO IS BACK ON SCI FI, YIPPEEE - not sure yet if I like this guy, or where it seems to be going with Rose - don't you Brits who have already seen it spoil it either! I did hear that Sarah Jane and K9 will make an appearance at some point, wow!

yeah, studio 60 is really good. sorkin has a talent for writing witty, natural dialogue.

have also been watching jericho. my god, that show sucks. great premise, horrible writing.

I'm not sure the dialogue is natural, but he casts people that make his dialogue sound natural, which is even better. Natural dialogue is not very TV friendly (re: M*A*S*H vs M*A*S*H), or so I've thought.

Absolutely correct. Anyone ever seen Marty? Some of the most natural dialogue ever.

Angie: What do you wanna do tonight?
Marty: I dunno, Angie. What do you wanna do?
Angie: I dunno, Marty. What do you wanna do?

For this Paddy Chayefsky won an Oscar for screenplay writing. And Ernest Borgnine got one for acting.

Sy "see how it came back to Paddy Chayefsky?" bil

So, are the "Others" former members of the Spork that no one remembers?

Heh, Sam and I watched the recording tonight when I got home from school and I made a Spree joke, too.
