Paris 1919 Remastered Version

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

Paris 1919 Remastered Version

Postby James » Tue Aug 01, 2006 3:03 pm

I know I bang on about this album a lot, but I received my copy of the (finally) remastered version of this album. When they did it for CD the first time, it was back when they were rushing through all the albums to put them on CD and it sounded pretty thin. But this time they did it right. The hiss is gone and the bass is up, and it all sounds so, so much better now.

It even has lots of alternate versions which are pretty interesting considering the originals. Now it's finally worth getting on CD. If you don't own it, you should...

I've always been meaning to get this record, and I finally bought it at the weekend for the bargain price of £5. I agree with James, it's well worth purchasing...

that looks like a great reissue. however, it's not been released here in the US. damn.

i have a nico bootleg, from about 1979, that has nico and john cale performing "a child's christmas in wales" together. it's really, really good.
