I couldn't figure it out either. I downloaded a bunch of cool stuff and I couldn't get any of the files to open. I'm sure if I took some time to figure it out, it would be cool.

I love bit torrent, but sometimes it takes up to a week to download something, then you need the right software to decode it unless it's DVD..then it just works in most cases.
It's fantastic for people like me that are live music junkies.

i hate bittorrent. its too complicated. i'd rather just have someone who uses it and is great at using it download whatever i need downloaded and then just file share it right over to me.

I think it's damn near the greatest thing since sliced bread. If you don't understand it, give
Azureus a try. I'm running it on both my PC's and my Mac with great success.

i don't think it's complicated, since i can do it. but i wont bother downloading anything if it says it's going to take more than 4 hours, it annoys me.

this always makes me laugh. i think it's hilarious when people complain about download speed when they are just getting a movie or something. i mean, let it roll and go out or something. what else are ya doin?

This thread reminds me of the scene in Singles with Jeremy Piven at the grocery store.
"You're the only man I know who could mix Elvis Costello and Public Enemy! What's so funny about... peace, peace, peace... love and under... peace, peace. Death Row, what does a brother know? peace, peace. Yow, wow, wow, wow, wow, kapow! You're the King, man, you are the King!"

i don't think i've downloaded a movie. only albums. and what i tend to be doing is nothing better than sitting, staring at the computer getting all fidgety about how long it's taking
