of course, some douche bags have to get up at 8 in the fucking morning and bang their hammers and shit right outside my window. i was gonna sleep in this morning too.

and of course, now that i'm up, the hammering has pretty much stopped.

i woke up this morning to a woodpecker pecking on the house right outside my window. most annoying thing EVER.

That's why I sleep with the window shut and the fan on high. I have a difficult time camping because of singing birds (and the fact that I like to stay up way too late watching the fire and drinking).

We had a nieghbor when I was in highschool who LOVED to mow his lawn at the crack of dawn on a Saturday morning right outside my window - brutal.

Oy vey! Two nights ago at 3:30 in the morning a police helicopter was fling overhead with a blinding spotlight looking for some criminal. Seriously, it was a very LA moment.

I suggest purchasing earplugs, or learning to sleep in noise-reducing headphones.
