This Memorial Day weekend, let’s all turn off the mobiles, neglect our emails and actually talk to people face to face. And let’s drink beer. Yeah.

I'll be visiting my family, so all that will be happening (and throw in a few tropical drinks since it's gonna be hot!)

I will be busy painting my house and fence.
If that gets done I'll be laying tile in the utility room.
Then it's off to clean the garage.
And then pull up three holly shrubs that need to go.
And then I have to make a trip to the land fill.
If I get this all done... there's more stuff that is way overdue on "the list"

Painting - They can only paint a wall up to 4ft.
Tile - If you could see what they do to a tube of toothpaste you'd understand why we wouldn't trust them with grout.
Garage - Oh hell yeah! They're totally doing this one.
Shrub pulling - Okay, this is more of a drunken sport than it is an actual chore.
Landfill trip - I don't want to deal with the drama since most of the stuff we are dumping belongs to them.

It depends what happens on the weather front- if it's sunny (or at least, not pissing it down) I might be able to start doing some of the stuff on my list- including cutting the grass and going for a bike ride. I need to take the dog for a long walk too. I'm also looking forward to a day off on Monday (another Bank Holiday, yay!), as work is boring the arse off me and I could do with a break.
