In a hurry to get to the post office before it closed, I mailed an Etsy order to someone who had (and has) not yet paid. Kiss that $45 goodbye.

ahhhh, suck. i have a similar post office-related FML. i recently had a bunch of international packages to be shipped and i sent them all in a big batch. a couple weeks later, one of my customers in australia contacted me asking if i'd shipped yet. i checked my records and indicated yes, i had shipped and pasted the address i shipped to.

oh, oops. i sent it to canada, not australia. fml.

OW! And I hate sending internationally because you have to go to the desk -- can't just use the auto machine that is my friend. Not to mention it is expensive. I hope it was something lightweight!

My life is not too effed -- the customer ended up paying last night.

it was relatively lightweight. knowing how bad canada's post sucks makes me nervous that i'll never get it back, though. sigh.

i really want to get a printer so i can print my shipping labels at home and not even have to deal with the post office. i've been slacking on that part. a 5'10" blonde mannequin, yeah, i've ordered that. but the printer just seems like so much more work.

turns out, the post office corrected my dumb ass and she got her hat today. sweet!
