cleaning up the house I found a picture of the good rev and his wife who lived here before us. he preached at a church around the corner from here since 1952, retired at 80 but kept preaching around till his death. found this on youtube. this is how you do it.

Yea! This makes me wish I knew more about the family that owned my house for 40+ years. I bet they weren't as cool as the reverend.

I met the wife and baby who lived in our house before us, and we could tell from the decor in the office that the husband played football at LSU. They were only there for 3-4 years though.
According to our septogenerian neighbors, we live in the "German girl's house." I guess she lived there for 25 years, so I imagine she wasn't much of a girl anymore when she sold it.
