a prayer request

I know some of you aren't religious, and i know that some of you are spiritual, but i'm writing today to ask that you say a prayer for Vic Chesnutt. He attempted suicide yesterday, he is in a coma; the prognosis of his pulling through is not good; if he does, he will probably be in a vegetative state. It has truly broken my heart this Christmas Eve morning....

Aw, that's a shame. I really dig him.
Here's hoping he gets what he really wants.. either way.

On an unfortunately related note, a guy from my high school class also died on Christmas Eve:

He (Mike Roberts) was a long-time bartender in the area, so all you barfly types probably met him.
