i have discovered the tasty way to make burgers better

broiling them in the oven. it's totally wonderful. like, you set it so that the meat's about 8 inches from the flame; you spray the tray with some Pam, and you put water in the lower part of the tray. cook it at about 8-10 minutes per side, and when it comes out, it's pure perfection. personally, i like to add some seasoned salt substitute that i created to the meat while i'm forming the patty. occasionally putting a slice of bacon in the last ten minutes of cooking is good, but ya have to watch it, else it burn up during cooking.

so that's what i'm having for lunch. what's on your menu for lunch (or supper, geography considered?)

Is this a gas oven? I have experimented with the broiler in an electric one and it wasn't very successful.

Mmm...sounds tasty, but my cooking skills end at ramen and poptarts, some times I venture into the world of hamburger helper, but the results are usually disasatorous.
