Postby Dalya » Fri Apr 14, 2006 4:07 am

on the blog

"we try, we crawl, we live, we're small"

i wonder if thats from the title track? could it possibly be?

this one's my favorite:

"the summer clouds, they made us proud"

i think i wrote that same line during for my Weather Unit poem in the first grade.

Well done Chris!

I just love the fact that all the comments recently have been about the forum being shut down and the lack of communication. I'd actually be surprised if they even read the comments.

Well done Chris!
I like how right after me, someone with a spreeblog posted their favourite lyrics. (the ones we made fun of. how about that?)

Actually, I bet they do read them. Didn't someone on the Spree forum say their comment was deleted, or did I dream that?

Nothing listed in those sounds as beautiful as "take the time to find the world another way/I want to me more than yesterday."

Or as punch-you-in-the-gut-with-the-truth as ". . . a lot of us are standing in line and you find that you're missin' what others thought you had all the time."

Before, you could find some simple elegance in the lyrics. I hope they were just holding out on us with that teaser. . .

"lyrics by tim delaughter and julie doyle"

Just because you're in love with someone who could write lyrics in the 1990s doesn't mean you can too.

Ha ha, is this Dan the Forker?

Scroll down.

Love the line about Tim creating a sense of unity among people. I quoted that on the Spork forum before, too, because it stood out as bullshits in 2006.
