I think my favorite political story of the last week was the girl who was robbed and beat up and had a giant B carved in her cheek by a giant dark black man. because it turns out she made it all up. it's kind of like fake kidnapping a girl, chopping off your toe to send for ransom in hopes that losing a small toe is worth a big payout.
