Wow, I did NOT see that coming. Even when I heard he was in the hospital - he seemed healthy overall so I assumed he'd recover. Damn.

What a shock! I'd heard he was seriously ill, but then I read somewhere that he was responding to treatment and had been upgraded from critical to "stable" condition. Seemed like he was on the road to recovery.

A very sad loss to be sure.

Read this a few days ago in the paper and it made me VERY sad!

I really loved watching his comedy and especially the Bernie Mac Show. Hilarious!
