ree-ree's posting about Wild Turkey and Diet Rite got me reminiscing about my wacky days of "dare drinks". The funny thing is that several of our "dare drinks" turned out pretty good.

"Yoda's and Shit" - Jack Daniels and Grape Gatorade (yummy yum yum good stuff)

Vodka and Milk (avoid like the plague)

Jack 'n Jus - Jack Daniels and Au Jus left over from Italian beef sammiches. Probably the one good thing about one of my last Chicago trips.

red wine and coke is good
so is fresca, grenadine and pusser's

James' Famous Atomic Fireball

2 Parts Dr. Pepper
1 Part Cinnamon Schnapps
1 Part Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum

Tastes eerily like those Atomic Fireball candies...and careful, it kicks.

2 parts Sprite
1 part Grenadine
1 part Southern Comfort

tastes like Vicks 44 and is quite syrupy!

note 'parts' is for suckers. wing it, baby. that's the only way to mix!

if it makes you feel better, i'm not talking about QUALITY red wine. i'm talking about box wine or some other cheap, rotgut type stuff.

Death by Mullet

1 part 100 proof vodka
1 part everclear
3 parts fruit punch
5 parts peach champagne (andre)

served on the rocks in a red plastic cup

here's one from my high school days.

there was a teacher who was a notorious drunk. she kept a flask in her desk, and would sip on it between classes. this was discovered one day when a friend of mine had to go to the school TV studio, which was in a nook with the teacher's lounge. after dropping off some equipment, he slipped down into the lounge to buy a bag of chips, and he secretly saw her drinking from it in the workroom. he told a few of us about it, but we didn't believe him--which, of course, is all the fodder a budding stoner needs for wacky adventure!

so during her daily conference period, he went down to her room, and lo and behold, she wasn't there. so he went through her purse and found the bottle--it was full. the following night was a Van Halen concert, and so during our drive to the show, he pulled out the bottle. I took a swig of it and it was nasty, so i quicky grabbed the nearest bottle, which was a bottle of Cinnamon Schnapps. happily enough, mixing the two worked like gangbusters, and so, thus was christened our new drink, our new, one-time-only, spur-of-the-moment, rock-and-roll, have-no-idea-what-else-is-in it drink:

Mad Dog Green + Sprite was the drink of choice my first year of college.

1 Shot Baileys + 1 Shot Roses Lime + Swish Around = VOM!!!

Slammers!
A shot of vodka and a shot of 7up in a juice glass. Cover with your hand slam it on the table then slam it down your throat.

It gets messy though.
Especially the drunker you get.

mmmm this sounds yummy, might do for the next party or function.

part of me wants to say it was some sort of sloe gin mixture, which is what one of the guys said it is. but i know i've never tasted anything quite as nasty as it again, and i've never wanted to touch gin.

i never get to crazy with my drinking, because i'm lame. and fear not liking it. i am a scared lame-o. but, you know what's yummy as all get out? Dr pepper and Southern comfort. i puked it up in a sink once. just as good coming back up.
